China Town street food
Thailand is all about food. China Town is well known for its Michelin star worthy street food scene. Make sure to arrive with an empty stomach to try out some new dishes. A spicy papaya salad and mango sticky rice are definitely a must try!
JJ Market
This is our favourite vintage market which is every Saturday and Sunday. Thousands of small shops sell the coolest vintage and new items. Go early morning or late night to avoid the heath and crowd.
Rooftops
Bangkok counts endless rooftop bars. But these two are a must visit. The rooftop of Sala Rattanakosin in Bangkok’s Old Town is quite low but has a stunning romantic view over the glittering Grand Palace, Wat Po and Wat Arun. The rooftop of Vertigo and Moon bar on top of the Banyan Tree Hotel is immense high en has sweeping views over the whole city. Make sure to arrive at 17:00 when the bar opens, for the best sunset spot.
The Grand Palace
Visiting the palace is always a good idea. Go with sunrise or sunset to get the best snaps with gorgeous pastel pink skies.
Jazz bar’s
In buzzing Bangkok is 24 hours a day something to do. Make sure you’ll make your way to The Brown Sugar and Maggie Choo’s. These two smoking jazz bars put up an authentic atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. Great drinks, a Thai hipster crowd, live fine music and entertainment!
Cycling in China Town
Cycling is hot in Bangkok! Rent a bike and make your own way, or book a cycling tour in China Town. Early morning the small lanes and alleys are full of life. Cycle along local markets, hidden gems and colorful temples.
City escape
Escape the buzz of the city and clear your mind. Get up early (yes again) en join a free sunrise Tai Chi lesson in one of the many parks in Bangkok.
Cool down
