Six Senses stars platinum indulging to the max. From the moment we get picked up by the hotel’s private speed boat and navigate our way through the high limestone’s to Koh Yao Noi the tone has been set. I am über excited. A feeling that is signature during our whole stay. As a welcome we are offered a glass of champagne by the friendly local staff. Slowly nipping we enjoy the mesmerizing view -sitting in between flowering Lillie ponds- for the first time. With a golf cart we are brought to our beachfront villas (yes we have two) with private pool. The floor to ceiling glass walls give us the opportunity to enjoy the view right at sunrise from our king-size bed. Bathing we do in our jacuzzi with ditto view. Next to your own private swimming pool Six Senses has an absolute ridiculous picturesque infinity pool. Where we are as often as possible.
In the afternoon we go for a sup session and collect our organic eggs for the next morning from the hotel’s chicken farm. Very island style we attend a cocktail shake course and after a delicious three-course dinner we watch The Beach at the open-air cinema at the beach. My day is the perfect dream. With a view as here I am a morning person. At 05:30 AM I am wide-awake, witnessing the sunrise from behind the limestone rocks in the ocean. The colours of the sky reflect equally bright in the large infinity pool. After a private morning swim we enjoy a breakfast for champions. Italian style poached eggs, fresh coconut juice, ice coffee, a healthy green juice, tropical fruits and home made yogurt topped with nuts, pancakes, waffles.. our table and stomachs are fulfilled. During the day we wander through the properties land full of flowers and palms, take snaps where we can, swim in the sea, stretch on the yoga deck, lie on the beach, visit the spa, lunch at thé infinity pool, enjoy, laugh and pinch each other that this unbelievable paradise is todays reality.
