RIAD BE – Be in the moment
A well-hidden hotspot where you can sit back after the overwhelming city vibe of Marrakech. Five years ago Swiss owner Nicole wandered in Marrakech and booked a night in Riad BE. After she fell in love with her husband to be they got inspired by ideas in a small Berber village to start working together. The opportunity came three years ago and they build Riad BE around the existing structure. The name riad, from the old Arabic word ryad means a building with a courtyard or garden. In the middle of this little turquoise patterned paradise is a small pool which makes the place picture perfect. From the sunny rooftop you have a sweet view over the red rose. Breakfast is mouthwatering! Get ready for the best organic jams with a home – baked slice of cake. Have a traditional tajine for dinner in the upper area next to the cute boutique that sells original souvenirs and Moroccan clothing. Treat yourself to a glass of wine (Riad BE is one of the few places where they serve alcohol!) on this bohemian rooftop before you fall a sleep in your big and comfy bed; and just BE.
RIAD QUARA – Sun gazing goodbye
The perfect spot to stay before you fly home; ‘such a cozy and friendly vibe’. Found inside the red and orange allies is Riad Quara. A great budget tip. the riad is located in one of the best parts of the medina; you will find everything you need around you. The inside jungle decorated in red traditional carpets is a great place to calm the mind. Get your souvenirs around the corner, catch some sunbeams in a hanging chair or read a book on one of the canopy beds on the spacious rooftop. Enjoy breakfast with birds singing in the courtyard or awaken your senses on the rooftop with that medina buzz. Sipping a mint tea while the mosque starts playing, who would want to leave this place?
RIAD YASMINE – This is not to be missed
Make sure you sleep in the Instagram pearl! The palm trees and tropical vibes in the courtyard around the pool bring you the real Moroccan atmosphere. Riad Yasmine gives you that family feeling, the rooms are very well affordable and everywhere you look it is clear; Alice and Gabriel put their hearts in this place. All the guests leave as friends; this popular riad is definitely one of those places that make you want to come back to Marrakech. The interior design is to die for and such an inspiration for that boho twist you want at home. Yummy couscous for lunch is served at the pool for a perfect break while wandering around the streets. Don’t forget to catch the pink sunset on the rooftop before you go out!
