This short film will take you to the North of India, Himachal Pradesh. In hippie town Manali, we meet colorful dressed and always friendly local people and cycle along endless pine trees and green valleys filled with fruit orchids. In the distance you see the first snowed of white mountain peaks of the Himalayas appear behind the fog.
I take you on my first real high altitude trekking to the Hampta Pass. The breathtaking scenery changes from sloping grasslands to valleys full of immense large rocks, intimidating mountains, snowed slopes, the desert mountains of Spiti and last but not least the magical deep blue lake of Chandratal.
