A completely Zen weekend in the North of Israel. We drive up to Cnaan Village over a winding road, the hotel is set between green rolling hills, small vineyards and next to the shores of Lake Kineret. It’s a different, beautiful side of the country that I haven’t seen before. Israel keeps surprising me in a positive way. We get the warmest welcome from the super friendly and helpful owners of the boutique hotel Avi and Anat. The hotel is wonderful, quiet and the best place to reset your mind after a super busy weekend in Tel Aviv. Cnaan Village is a small hotel, all the plants in the garden are flowering which give the place a tropical nature vibe. Our room is spacious and has a Jacuzzi with view on Lake Kineret. A healthy, delicious breakfast is fresh prepared every morning and served next to the pool. We make a small trip to the lake but most of our time we spend in the hotel, chatting with Anat, reading books, swimming, enjoying the local wines and planning our next trip.
