The hostel has a super convenient location and is surrounded by the city’s best hotspots. Want to get away from the city buzz enjoy a free yoga or pilatus lesson or chill out on the hostel’s great rooftop.
Israeli have a breakfast and brunch culture and at Abraham they give you an idea how it’s done. Every morning an extensive and healthy breakfast buffet is freshly prepared.
Abraham Tours
Next to three hostels (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Nazareth) Abraham offers an extensive choice of tours and activities all around Israel and Jordan. Definitely my favourite one was the Masada Sunrise tour. You’ll leave Tel Aviv at 02:30 in the morning and are dropped of in a dark desert landscape at the foot of Masada. Right away you start a 45-minute climb up and you’ll reach the top just in time to see the sun rise from behind the rugged desert landscape. Providing a mesmerizing yellow, orange golden view. Explore the archaeological ruins of a castle built in the year 30 BCE by King Herod on the top, next to the place where Jewish rebels famously decided to take their own lives rather than to fall into the hands of the advancing Roman armies.
The next stop of the trip is Ein Gedi a desert oasis where you can hike and chill out at the refreshing pools and waterfalls. The third part of the tour is spent at the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, a must visit when in Israel. Spent the afternoon floating around in the salty waters and rub yourself in with rejuvenating therapeutic mud to get a skin smooth as silk.
Vegan food tour
Israeli know how to do food and they especially know how to do vegan food. You don’t have to be a vegan to love this tour; roaming the streets of Tel Aviv, meeting new friends and trying out delicious food at every other vegan place is a good idea for anyone who loves a culinary afternoon.
Free walking tours
Both in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are offered all kinds of free walking tours. During these tours you walk around with a guide that has extensive information about the location, history and points of interest. The tours depart every day at several times, ask for an updated schedule at Abraham.
Daily shuttle
Very easy and convenient Abraham provides a shuttle between Abraham Tel Aviv and Abraham hostel Jerusalem where you are dropped of at the door.
